Our Keynote Speaker will be Jason Duke

Keynote Speaker

Jason Duke is the Southeast Regional GIS Coordinator for the US Fish & Wildlife Service in Cookeville, TN. The Southeast Region consists of the 10 southeastern states, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Their mission is working with others to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. Some of the projects Jason oversees include forest change analysis across the southeastern 18 states, sea level rise and climate change modeling, predictive distribution species modeling, threat index development for urbanization analysis, and the impact of invasive species using USDA plant hardiness zone change. Jason is also in his 4th term as the President of the Tennessee Geographic Information Council.
